I had a yard of fabric sitting in my sewing box that lacked specific purpose. I've been wanting to make a tote, so here's my practice run. Next time I'll add a lining & use a thicker, canvas like material.

Very Nice and Creative! If you line it with a thicker fabric, it would allow you to use a thinner fabric and hold it's shape. You'd probably want to sew the lining to the fabric to help stiffen it up some. I am impressed! Feel free to call me if you ever have sewing questions. I think I started sewing when I was about 10 years old, making doll clothes.
